Labor Day
Dan and I are lazing around today. We are resting up after our weekend of party prep, party and now are now party pooped :)
This is a really nice place to have folks visit. With the backyard, the upper and lower living spaces plus the deck area, folks were able to spread out a bit. Even when the skies threatened rain, we were okay as there's plenty of space indoors. And fortunately, it didn't rain after all, so we had three dogs running round in the yard plus a game of 4-player beer-minton.
The evening ended with a wee bit o'Karaoke Revolution before our last guests departed.
Now Dan and I are lounging and nibbling leftovers (including OSM's potato salad, which Dan and I made together...although as OSM might say, my grandmother turns in her grave at the sight of our vegetable chopping skillz). I'm occasionally knitting on a kitchen towel. He's playing Beyond Good and Evil. Earlier we both took turns playing Katamari Damacy.
Thank you to all the workers of America for the hard work that gave us the day off today.
