Happy Fourth!

Dan is making us breakfast and I am on the couch with my knee resting on an ice pack.

Yes, we are late risers. So sue us :)

Went to see a sports medicine doctor about the pain in the back of my knee. He poked, he prodded, he twisted it and all sorts of interesting things. It's obviously swollen (although I hadn't actually looked at the back of my knee until he did). He said it is very likely a Baker's cyst, which isn't as delicious as it may sound. However, he doesn't want to rush me off for an MRI quite yet. Instead I am "resting vigorously" on doctor's orders.

In any case, my knee still hurts but hopefully, we shall have it under control and I can go back to my training. Yay for training!

In other news, I got a new cell phone and spent last night playing with all the new features. I'm usually a last adopter of new technology, but I thought this might be a cool little gadget. It's got orange sidebars and is extremely thin.

And I can finally use the little owl dingle-dangle that Candyce bought me last year as this model also has a place to hang stuff from!
