It's Snowing...Again!

Candyce's sister Natalie is in town. Hopefully, Candyce will recover from being sick so that we can all do something together. I am keeping my fingers, eyes and toes crossed!
I'm going to spend some time this weekend doing some spring cleaning. I hope. I want to clear out some of the stuff that I have carried around like baggage from place to place. Some things I haven't used in years, but it seemed a shame to get rid of them.
Then again, Dan bought me Crisis Core, so I've been playing a little bit of that every night. Muahahahaha!
And then again again, we're supposed to go to a housewarming at his friend Jeremy's place. Jeremy likes bacon. I'm planning to make bacon chocolate brownies. We'll see if we can't figure out a recipe that will work with that.

It was so cold today! (brr / grr)
And yes, bacon in brownies--fantastic. I made some with veggie bacon (Mr. CS is a vegetarian) and it was surprisingly tasty. I just diced up two strips and mixed 'em in. The flavor was good, but a little goes a long way!
Cakespy, I bought a cupcake cookbook this weekend...no bacon cupcake recipes within, though.
I loved that every cupcake wasn't made from "see Basic Batter on Page 13." :)
For my two regular readers (and the three irregular ones), Cakespy writes a blog for our local newspaper...about CUPCAKES! And other sweets. Yay for sweets!
What do you think about Crisis Core? I'm sure the storyline would be good but does the gameplay suck you in enough to keep playing? I keep going back and forth about whether or not to buy it.. After trading back in FFXII: Ring of Fates and giving Revenant Wings to my kiddo, I'm just not sure whether I want to just wait until FFIV comes back before trying another FF game.
I can be such an indecisive guy sometimes..
I've been enjoying Crisis Core; it has that nostalgia factor with you running around bits of Midgar and all.
One thing I like about it is that you have "missions" that don't require you to go anywhere to complete them. You access them at any save spot and are zoned to an instance to complete. If you fail, you don't die but are put back out at the save point. That's a handy way to level up and practice combat :)
I haven't played enough Revenant Wings to get a feel for whether I like it or not, although I was kind of irritated that it (like regular FFXII) seems to have a bunch of cut scenes. Maybe it's just early in the game though.
