The cookies this year are shortbread, mainly as I have two shortbread pans this year after lusting after them for ages. One I got when Kevin, Candyce and I went to the Scottish festival last January. The other I bought not long afterwards here in San Diego.
If you, like Chris, taste shortbread and say, "Oh. I forgot I'm not a 'shortbread person,'" then you should let me know now...for only shortbread and variations thereof are being baked for Christmas this year. Should you have the same lack of taste as my cherub, you'll get a card.
